Blackpool has a long way to go on its journey of rebirth; that journey has now begun and Blackpool is evolving.
ReBlackpool and the regeneration of the town is financed by a combination of funding from NWDA, Defra, Arts Council, ERDF, and Blackpool Council.
Private sector developers and investors are of course vital to the regeneration of the town and Blackpool currently offers a wealth of investment opportunities. For further information on development and investment opportunities in Blackpool please contact us.

ReBlackpool, Blackpool’s urban regeneration company, is tasked with delivering the vision of the Blackpool Resort Masterplan. The Masterplan aims to transform the resort into a world-class 21st century visitor destination that will provide a sustainable year round economy.
The small executive team working at ReBlackpool are making the Masterplan a reality by attracting investors, funding, bringing land forward for development, and communicating and consulting about the progress of Blackpool’s Masterplan. Further details about the investment already generated can be found on our Key Project pages. We work closely with key partners including Blackpool's events team visitBlackpool to collectively promote the town. Every year Blackpool holds a number of exciting events which work with the regeneration projects to improve the town. Click here for this years Events Programme.

The Masterplan
The Masterplan is a 15-year regeneration plan that focuses on the resort core: an area 5km long and 1km deep encompassing the famous Golden Mile and Blackpool Tower, the town centre, major public transport arrival points, and the surrounding dense neighbourhoods of holiday accommodation.
The Masterplan was first launched in March 2003 and since then has changed and adapted to external factors and drivers. Fundamentally however, the vision for Blackpool will not change.
By developing each of these key areas, the Blackpool Masterplan aims to develop Blackpool into a collection of memorable neighbourhoods, distinguished by individual assets in the form of attractions, landmarks, and natural public spaces.
