These are exciting times to bring forward economic improvements lifting the quality of life for all. The work of ReBlackpool has shown what is possible through a targeted approach and we now want to spread this concentrated effort and successful delivery to a wider area covering the whole of The Fylde Coast. In addition we intend to increase the pace of improvement and renewal across a wider range of activities including skills, training, enterprise and transport issues. There is much to build on as the ReBlackpool website will show including the extensive improvements to the Promenade and the recent announcement concerning the Tower and Winter Gardens acquisitions.

I am looking forward to working with the Leaders of Blackpool, Fylde, Wyre and Lancashire County Councils to accelerate the pace of change throughout the Fylde area and capitalise on the fantastic opportunities that present themselves.
